It’s like burning your hand on a stove. It makes you afraid to do it again.


But, if you’re ever going to cook up a new relationship, you’re going to have to handle the stove again.


Just like you can’t cook a hot meal without heat.


You can’t have a healthy relationship without opening up your heart.


It’s scary, especially if you got burned really bad.


But this is just the nature of love.


It’s high risk, high reward.


If you want that reward, then opening up your heart is just a risk you’ll have to take again.


This is why it’s important to take your time to get to know someone before jumping into a relationship with them.


When you find someone who is very unlikely to ‘burn’ you, you minimize your risk of another heartbreak.
