most of the time it's because you haven't found yourself yet. you're not confident you don't believe in yourself and you go back to that person because you can use them for an excuse when you fail again.
but what you don't understand is that it's not a failure when your life is not going the way that you had planned it is a growing point in your life there's no such thing as failure you have to fail before you succeed failure is succeeding it's how you stand back up and take that first and second step you don't need anybody for an excuse.
when your parents are your friends or your family or whoever looks at you and says oh you went through this again blah blah blah it's another fucking business stand back up brush yourself off and take that first and second step don't go back to a person that's going to abuse you because that's going to hold you back even longer believe in yourself find yourself it's all inside of you you just have to believe in yourself what you believe in yourself you're got it you're on it go for it the world is yours but don't hang out with somebody that's going to mentally physically bring you down because then you have to walk away from that too at some point so don't even walk into it walk away look in the mirror everyday smile and say you got this
when we were born we are all given a gift that gift is choice we get to choose who we want to be in life by the things that we say and do.
with that right there you pick who you want to be and become strong become independent and succeed you have to believe in yourself before you can do anything else in this world you have to love yourself before you can do anything else in this world once you have those two things you can do anything and smile no matter what it is
Returning to a relationship with someone who mistreats or does not treat us well can be complex and influenced by various factors. Some reasons individuals may return to such relationships include:
1. Emotional Investment: A history and emotional investment in the relationship can make it challenging to walk away, even when the treatment is poor.
2. Pattern Recognition: Personal experiences and patterns can influence one's tolerance for mistreatment, sometimes causing individuals to inadvertently seek out or return to unhealthy relationships.
3. Fear or Isolation: Fear of being alone, cultural or familial pressures, or financial dependence can contribute to someone staying in or returning to a relationship where they are mistreated.
4. Hope for Change: People may believe that the mistreatment will stop, or that the other person will change, leading them to give the relationship another chance.
5. Manipulation and Guilt: In some cases, the mistreating individual may use techniques such as manipulation or manipulation to make the other person feel responsible for the poor treatment, thus persuading them to return.
It's important to recognize that returning to a relationship where mistreatment occurs can have serious negative impacts, both emotionally and psychologically. If you find yourself in such a situation, seeking support from trusted individuals or professionals who can offer guidance and resources may be helpful in making informed and healthy decisions. Only by recognizing your own worth and prioritizing your well-being and safety can you move towards relationships that are emotionally fulfilling and supportive.
so, a few reasons.
sometimes these relationships reflect other one’s we’ve seen in our lives. if we’ve ever seen our parents fight horribly and make up, we’ll usually start to think that’s ok. if there was a lot of yelling in the house, we’ll do that too. because our parents did that and were together, so why can’t i?
some people have put up with bad shit in their relationship. like, the crappiest of people. someone who may be bad for them doesn’t seem that bad, just because they’ve been “through worse”. like, “oh, she’s fucking mean, but at least she’s not a stalker”. or “he doesn’t care, but at least he’s not cheating on me”.
i used to be in a very toxic relationship. i would scream, he would scream, it was never physical, but not healthy. i would constantly break up with him, but he’s take me back, and i really loved him. i truly believed that the screaming was normal and that he was my ideal partner, he just needed to mature. obviously we broke up because we were both immature.
but it’s hard to let go of a bad relationship when you’re delusional.
I don’t know, I can’t relate.
If a man bullied me, or physically hurt me. Or he used his words, or he disrespected me in any way. Canceled plans often. Took me for granted.
Chances are, I’m gonna be turned off, sexually and emotionally. Chances are my p—ssy🐱 will dry up. Chances are my eyes will look someplace else.
Why some people choose to (go back) (take back) people who hurt you in any way. Is beyond me. I have dignity. 💅💅
I will an Angel to him. If we don’t reciprocate and become an Angel to me in return. Then wtf am o doing there?
Whats the benefit?
What’s the reward?
I don’t care if he looks like Brad Pitt. If he throws hands and smacks me across the face. WHATS THE BENEFIT? Me going to hospital? 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
RIDICULOUS!

If it was something your sexually involved with. It’s because you created a soul tie. It’s crazy to think about but you have a spiritual tie to them.
Whether it was a sexual relationship, romantic, friend, family member, or anyone else. Many times you want to see the best in them. Maybe there is some hope they changed. You’ve seen their good side. But… You go back and it’s the same old thing all over again.
Others. Maybe the person has money or something they want.
Because for a woman there is always this "I have to make him like me or I will literally die trying." This is why guys who do treat you well are not a challenge. women are addicted to their dopamine.
BANG☝️
Because when you get treated badly and for a long period of time, it destroys out self-esteem, and then creates a thing called Cognitive dissonance is the discomfort a person feels when their behavior does not align with their values or beliefs. Cognitive dissonance is a psychological phenomenon that occurs when a person holds two contradictory beliefs at the same time.
Also when your self-esteem has been hit hard, you don't believe you can do any better, and also start to believe the relationship you were in, wasn't that bad.
That's why important, if you are getting treated badly early on in the relationship, and that is to leave asap, and stop believing you can change someone, or they will change because they love you.
The reason this happens so often is that people get used to mistreatment, or they were mistreated in their homes of origin by parents, grandparents or other relatives. So they seek relationships with people who will similarly mistreat them.
The other side of this coin is, people love the people they hook up with and try to believe those people will change when they SAY they will. Of course, abusive people SAY they will change. But 95% of the time never do. However, the people who those abusers "love" keep hoping and trying to believe they will change.
So, the negative cycle continues. It takes courage to break the cycle, and it's painful to lose someone who you loved, even when they mistreat you.
I think it's because they miss the person & still love them to some degree. Even if the relationship was unhealthy and they did crap to them, they might push those aside and look at what was just great about being with them. Until they're reminded of why they broke up with them.
I think it is the attachment that we have with them making us to outweigh their good deeds. I experienced this in my previous friendship. I took her back because I remembered some memories that we had when we used to hang out together. She only changed for like a couple weeks and started to treat me like crap again but this time I completely ditch her without a second thought.
I don't. Too many decent women out there to deal with that garbage. But those who do probably do so due to familiarity, not wanting to be alone, fear of having to find a new person, the child (ren), can't afford the place without the other person, or any number of specific reasons.
If you grew up with abuse, were abused and only knew abuse you will reach adulthood knowing that it’s normal. You will either abuse others people or seek out others who will abuse you.
I think this is called “the cycle of abuse” by the establishment.
look into the sub conscious mind... there you will find the answers...
In general, something left emotionally undone
or we resonate with that... even if it is bad, it is familiar.
we don't like to let go...
I generally didn't except once. She had the most extraordinary pelvic floor muscles with those kegel contractions. Felt like having sex with a fleshy vacuum cleaner that suctioned each time you tried to pull out.
I used to try to convince myself all the reasons I wanted her back but I think it was ultimately just that. Like I made up the rest of the reasons.
Western women usually do that, because for all the ego prop grandstanding they do, they need constant validation for a REASON. Their self esteem isn't really what they portray. Most guys are quick to throw down or take retribution for a reason too... because respect is ALL that matters to us. We're like cats. We'll give anyone 1 shot-and that's it.
Poor decision-making skills & possibly self-esteem issues that haven't been worked out in therapy.
Usually, people who don't think highly of themselves or think they have low self worth succumb to this.
I think females tend to do this because of low self esteem. I think males tend to do it out of loneliness. Both things are related in a way. Low self esteem leads to loneliness.
because some think that's all they deserve, low self esteem issues, stuff like that
Because it hurts to think that the person you valued didn't value you. You don't want to feel foolish
Because people are lazy and don’t want to try and start fresh with someone new.
Then it’s because it’s easy
I don't.
If you're doing that, you should stop lol.
Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. It makes no sense but is often the case
Just options. Guys go back because they don't think they can get more girls go back because they don't think they can get better.
Probably grew up with parents that are similar people tend to gravitate to it. Like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Johnny's mom was abusive to him.
"We" don't. People with certain traumas subconsciously seek it out because it is familiar
Because nice guys aren't challenging enough for you. You like to be treated like the piece crap you are
Low self esteem or they believe there isn't better for them out there.
I’d say you’re like cats who always try to win over people.
İ have no idea :( i am trying to I'm trying to stay away from that kind of person
Some people do. Most don't.
"The devil you know.."
Fear of the unknown perhaps
Because at times, we're stupid
using same patterns is an unhealthy form of coping
Women do this because they are broken.
Because to truly be alone is unfathomable
cause it somewhere still feels comfy
You're Stupid!
I’m not sure
We settle
Trauma basically
