Here's what I think could be happening:

- Long distance relationships can fizzle out easily without that real life interaction to keep things exciting. The distance could've taken a toll on his feelings over time.

- He may have lost interest but doesn't want to seem like the "bad guy" by officially ending things, so he's just slowly phasing you out instead.

- Met someone new locally who piqued his interest more than an online connection. Unfortunately it's easier for guys to detach and move on emotionally sometimes.

- Personal issues on his end unrelated to you - stress, depression, changed priorities - that made it harder for him to invest the same energy.

- Felt like the effort wasn't equally matched and you weren't as invested as he wanted a partner to be. People tend to withdraw when needs aren't met.

My advice would be to have an honest talk with him about how his distance makes you feel and what you think is going on. See if there's still caring they’re worth trying for, or if it's really run its course. You deserve clarity so you’re not left hanging, babe. And don't be afraid to put yourself out there again when you're ready - your person is still waiting somewhere!

Do you ever reach out to him? The biggest mistake women make, is making guys do all the chasing. In the beginning, I think most guys like to be the ones to initiate the conversation but eventually, they like the girl to be the one to reach out first. If that never happens, he eventually feels she’s not that interested. Reach out to him!

Stop dating with the intention of it being online. You need to look inward and figure out why online connections are only something you prefer because it’s not normal or natural. Normal people can’t keep up with the idea of loving someone without having in person connection with them.
