Why do relationships these days have become less valuable and have an expiration date?

Because people start it mostly just because of outer attraction rather than choosing personality. Because people forget that good and bad both makes human as a human so if we are liking someone's good side we should learn to accept their bad side too and we should appreciate their bads and weakness also. Rather than leaving them because of those. Because people believe love and attractions is natural and automatic and thinks that if they don't feel anymore attraction means relationship is died rather than understanding that love is our choice. We choose to love someone. Love is not atomatic but it needs our efforts to maintain it. Because people forgot that efforts should be from both side to run a relationship, not only you but other person also has some needs from relationship. Because people forgot to accept their mistakes and to admit it. Because people forget that relationship is not about what's we are getting always but it's about what we are giving.

Relationship now is like a deer running in desert thinking mirage as pond for water and so keep running and forget that if they dig a little bit just below their feet they would definitely get water instead of running behind shining sand what they think as large pond.

As the son of parents who enjoyed a 53-year marriage (my father,76, succumbed to a blood clot on his lung Feb.26,1990;Mom,86, suffered a fatal stroke Oct.9,2003), I believe it's because people don't put in the time necessary to heal the rough spots in a relationship to keep it going, plus social media and other modern factors facilitate people's wanderlust, giving folk the reason to seek another lad/lass.
