Can a relationship last if the guy works in the daytime and the woman works at nights?

It could like an hour a day or weekends and vacations.

it can work but it will be slow at first until you guys can maybe live together/ work closer/ make more/ etc.

it would be slower than what others typically do and this could demand more independence temporarily and better communication when you two do interact together, and more patience because of all the busyness. If you’re both busy I don’t think you’d have much time to indulge in needs or stress. Probably just rest and try to be a ray of sunshine for each other. Do some getting to know each other with games or so. Make sure you’re both well rested and taking care of business so you both can take the hour and not be sleepy during it or so.

Lack of sleep will definitely increase sleepiness.

It can work if you schedule quality time together. I also work remotely which means that I can stay at home when he is, which allows for some time together as well during breaks and whatnot.

We know some couples who have endured this type of work schedule. Often times doctors and nurses and police officers and firefighters work through this at some point in their careers. It takes patience and a desire to further and maintain the relationship in the hours that you were able to be together. if children are added to the relationship, there is even more reason to stay together and work through it, and perhaps seek out ways to advance your career or pursue a different job with the skills you have that may work out better for the relationship.

It will create problems. I dated somebody who was a bartender who worked nights. She also worked on the weekends. I was a full time student and had a part time job as well. A few times we met for breakfast and a few times we would go out during the week when she got out of work at 11PM. The problem was that she really liked to drink so we would end up getting drunk and I would have to get up early the next day to go to class. She could sleep until noon..

3 out of the first 5 years of my marriage were this life style. It's not optimal but if there is a plan and a plan to end this lifestyle there is hope. It was real cool when my wife would call out sick because she wanted dick.
