Am I oblivious or overly needy?

Straight to the point me and my boyfriend have been together since 2021, he has the habit of disappearing when he's upset, randomly or something is happening on his end. He'll give me a short quip on where he's at and why he goes MIA and sometimes he doesn't and just shows back up after a while. I never feel the need to ask where you've been what happened or what happened during- he tells me after a while or we just move forward. What's changed? He's gone MIA I know why buts it's been a month. He watches my story reads my messages etc but refuses to say anything at all, this is after we both had crap happen at our own houses. Am I just not getting the hint or being overly needy?
