Is it weird that I’m just not ready to settle down in a relationship?

I’ve been in a relationship for 3 years going on 4 years and it’s my first relationship. At first I wanted to settle down but as the years go by and we’ve been through so much together as much as I still love the person, I want to enjoy my life as I’m still in my 20s. I want to get my life together and still go clubbing with my friends because I know that when I’m settled I wouldn’t be able to do those things.

It's totally OK to not being ready to settle down in your age. There is always such kinds fears comes in mind at this age it's pretty normal.

You say you loves him. So I would ask you why do you think your life would change after getting settled? You need to look into this more closely. You need to look upon your fears closely that what are your fear and how legitimate it is? For example why do you not want to get settled? Is it because it could stop you for clubbing? Does your partner puts restrictions on you what you feel like wrong restrictions and you couldn't survive or your desires and demand are wrong? Are you wanting to do more flirting and after getting settled you couldn't so you don't want to? You really need to look over all this.

Because in reality if relationship is healthy then nothing really change but bond gets even more stronger person get more secure and so they could concentrate more into other areas rather than trying to invest their energy more into just saving relationship and feeling insecure always or being in fear all the time.

Or else if there is something what is making us fear of getting settled with that person and if those fears are true then there are more chances that, you are not with right person or you are not aligned with eachother. Maybe there are differences what could never be get settled then in such case we should better move on so both of you could able to find right partner for eachother, no need to just sticking together and wasting eachother times in nothing.

Break up so he can find someone else to form a family with. Just remember the older you get, the harder it gets to find a marriage-minded man.

Too many men want gfs (big deal.. any man wants that) to live together with them, to have frequent sex, all the free benefits of the relationship but not the responsibilities with it. But you're gaining anything out of that. If something it's too easy to get (just a boyfriend wanting cohabitation), then we're not scoring anything. If someone it's difficult to obtain or becomes rare nowadays (men that propose and get married) then that's scoring for us.

There is no right or wrong answer here. If you are not ready, you are not. Settling down means committing to someone and finding a common ground where you both can live a life without worries, trust issues, getting upset over the little things.
