If someone comes back because he/she can't find anyone better, would you accept him/her?

If an ex or old fling comes back to you or wants to try again because they couldn't find anyone better, would you take them back? Would it be a compliment to you, or an insult?

Sorry most likely no. I had a girl I was in love with but she would not give me a shot. Years later after I was over her I heard she was interested in contacting me again. I was not interested at all at this point at all. She only realized after things were not going well with her that now I was an option. She did some things when I still liked her still I'm not getting into that.

Not at all. That means you're the fall back, and you'll continue to be the fall back again, and again, any time they decide they want to walk out again. You will never be the primary, only, sole partner in their eyes. They'll always be looking around. Love yourself and end that relationship, permanently.

Nope because it means you were the last option. Someone that really wants you would still chose you even when they have many options.
