Why will a woman not show emotions to a guy who loves her more than anything. why would she not let him in, specially after knowing each for 1year?

Does it mean that she doesn't love him the same way that he loves her. Or her heart already belongs to someone in the past that she cannot see the person who is in front of her love her so much?

She was probably hurt bad previously and is now very cautious about opening up. Some people (like myself) can take a year or more to start opening up. What helped me let my guard down was when my boyfriend started showing me his vulnerable side and being more open with me, it showed that he trusts me enough to be open and raw with me. That touched me and I started letting him into my heart. You might also give that a go.

Some people are just hardened bcs they’ve been hurt so much in the past, but it doesn’t mean that they don’t love you, they’re just cautious about showing it so openly

Maybe the girl also loves/like but waiting on his move? Did you said your feelings openly with her and discuss it? If not there’s a communication issue
