Why I do't believe in this love thing?

Everyone states to be in love/like the other until some girl wither with hotter body / smarter clueless /submissive comes along. So why do they say "Love" and then cheat, have lovers around but fake the wedding? Every person I met is like that, they claim something and all is around you until someone else comes along.

Ughhh I totally get where you're coming from girl. It really sucks feeling like no one is actually capable of love anymore. But don't give up on it completely yet - here are a few thoughts:

- A lot of guys our age still have a lot of growing up to do. They chase looks and instant gratification without thinking about real commitment.

- Doesn't mean all guys are like that tho. Maybe we've just been meeting the jerks! Could take more time and experience to find one of the good ones.

- Love also takes work - it's not always a constant high like in movies. Compromise and trust builds over long periods together through ups and downs.

- Maybe try not rushing into labels or relationships so fast in the future. Take time getting to REALLY know someone before all in emotionally.

- Focus on YOU and your friends for now. Work on being confident and happy solo so a guy adds to your life, not completes it.

I know it's hard to be optimistic after being let down. But don't give some guy the power to make you bitter! We're young - there's still so much life to live. Your person is out there somewhere sis :)
