Why did I give up on believing in love?

I'm a successful person who works in a fortune 500 company. But, every time I reach an accomplishment or milestone, there's really no one there to celebrate my accomplishments with me nor do I have a real best friend or a partner. Also, a lot of guys would chase after me but im really tired. Do you guys ever stop believing in love especially because living in America?

People who prioritize being successful in business often minimize emotional connections that could possibly complicate their life or hold them back. They can also push themselves to the point of being exhausted by the end of the day.

Ask yourself whether you'd prefer being on top of a pillar or a pyramid. The pillar rises higher, but it's straight down and not very stable. The pillar may not rise as high, but is much more stable over time. Putting all your eggs in one basket is climbing that pillar. Focusing on a well-rounded life is climbing the pyramid. Life doesn't have to be all one thing or another.

It's a material world. Without money, we're frowned upon and relationship is impossible. With money we're surrounded with people. But relationship is still impossible because people just want to eat, drink and fuck.

Maybe the saying that we need not seek love is true. Yet I wonder if we don't seek, how would true love come by?

Maybe VISA ads is true "there are things money can't buy". Yet I wonder without money, what would bring guys and girls together.

Don't know why you've chosen work over a relationship or friendships. You're a human. There is no job that pays off as well as human companionship and warmth. You are not dead yet and you can alter your life if you want to. See a professional psychologist to work through the issues of choosing work over relationships. It certainly seems like a form of avoidance that may have resulted from your home of origin issues or from being burned.

Start on a better path for a better life. Good l uck.

It's because I decided to pursue this pathway because I wanted whats best for my parents and want them to retire earlier plus if im gna be having kids, kids are Hella expensive nowadays. So I decided this hardship path. If I have decided another path, I would not have met my current online dating partner now. And all of the guys I've been set up knows that I'm a very shy introverted anti socialist pessimistic AKA the MOST awarkedest person EVER mostly because I'm a genius who graduated school early and I have strict Asian parents.

OK, I don't know about Asian culture, but you might want what's best for YOURSELF first and to hehlp your parents second. If you only know the person you're having an relationship with online, that's not a real life relationship. You need to be physically present with a person; know how they eat, keep their home and their bodies, how they speak, carry themselves to have a viable relationship.

You don't know if you're being catfished by the person on the other side of the computer you're typing texts into. I'm sure you can meet someone in your area to have a relationship with sometime in the future.

You can certainly use a Life Coach to help you break out of your shy shell. And a personal counselor might be able to guide you away from being anti social and pessimistic. Simply because you're smart doesn't mean you have to be awkward. See a good psychologist or counselor to guide you toward a better place.

In the meantime, just practice, practice to be more comfortable in your skin. Love yourself. Your shy, somewhat awkward self will be attractive to someone, in person, sometime soon. Good luck.

I came to the realization that the pickings are pretty slim after 25. There's a reason no one married those women. It ain't bad luck. And by 35-40 women are just too toxic and bitter. You couldn't have a healthy relationship with what's left. They judge you by every mistake SHE'S ever made.

The reality is most women do not want a partner. They want a fan. Essentially she wants you to adopt her, not a partner. There really is no such thing as love. Because love is RECIPROCAL.

But I still wish you and anyone reading this the best of luck in finding it. I think it's largely a myth.

I don't think I should say this but according to me I think you are afraid, you are afraid that if someone comes close to you it might be because they want something from you cause you are successful and if you get attached to them they will leave you one day.
