Okay, this is question to only those who know the otome yandere game "Diabolik lovers"
It has very distrubing elements, from torture child abuse on different levels, imprisonment, rape, violence, cheating, incest, etc...
Someone is probably going to ask: "Why did you play it then?"
My country is Arab and I'm minor I can't get it, so after watching the anime and getting crept out and confused, I followed the scenario written by fans in detail (it was surprisingly popular and largely debated about)
Me, after reading all mangas and scenarios without paying a penny: Oh, shame on everyone here.
There's a character we all agree on hating, Cordelia, the vampire king's first wife, for her abuse on her the triplets sons and her treatment to her husband's second wife, Beatrix. Believing that Cordelia to be the worst mother and wife ever I hated her with passion once.

But... Later it was revealed all his three wives' problems was manipulated by the vampire king to mess his sons up as for them to be the perfect guinea pigs for his project of creating new species.

Cordelia herself was courted by Karlheinz from an early age, making her believe he loves her, messing up her view of love and sex thus transforming her to a manipulative slut who's self-centered that only cares about him then herself.

After knowing all Karlheinz plans and sorting in my mind including his orders on a shitty orphanage to entrain nobles that was the 'hellhole' that messed up with his 4 non-biological sons, and how he broke down his wives so they do abuse his biological sons in turn. I gave myself a minute of silence.

Why's Karlheinz still loved and obsessed with in the fandom? This person is mad, a lunatic! The root of everything my bias boy had to go through in the game!!!

I wants to throw up because even Cordelia deserved less hate for being a victim from certain angles, lots of hate withdrawn and sympathy for Karlheinz's two other wives

Because, you have to look at the bigger picture here, fam. Diabolik Lovers is a visual novel made by, and for the Japanese masses. You'll be surprised to know that a lot of the things that might seem outlandish, disgusting or outright disturbing to us is pretty mainstream in their corner of the world.

Take lolis as an example. What are they, you ask? A loli is any premature, underage girl between the ages of 6 to 12 who's often sexualized in a comedic sense through cutesy and innocent acts that can lead to straight up lewd scenarios. I won't go into details, but you probably get the idea. And sure, to you and I; a larger more older and stronger man, dominating and taking advantage of a clueless underage girl more than half his size is insane and completely unacceptable to us because it's straight up pedophilia. Yet it still has a huge fanbase, and some people still love watching this sort of stuff.

The same goes for hentais that have incest, yaoi or yuri pairings, or even rape or bestiality. Because there, as much as it's mainstream, hentai and basically all forms of media of the sort is considered as a form of art and for artists to express their thoughts, no matter how weird and disturbing they may be. As for DL, well, as I said, it has it's own fanbase.

That's why it isn't getting hate.

I know all these and it crept me out.
But I'm screaming internally because the mastermind should be more hated than the executioner, to soothe my heart I want some comfort that Karlheinz deserves more hate and disgust than people thinking he's hot.
Some are fans for Cordelia for pity because of outcome reaction of all the above.

I have no qualifications to decide opinions for others, but it's straight out insane that Cordelia, Beatrix and Christa are getting more hate than him when they're complete victims that would've turned out good if not for his manipulation. Even Cordelia didn't want children because she knows she's no mother's material, which I applaud her for honestly! But her husband just had to make her anxious to forget her principal by marrying Beatrix.

@Rania05 and that's another thing right there. A lot of the female readers out there have a major crush for characters like Karlheinz and basically badboys/f*ckboys like him who love flexing their powers to take advantage of others who don't have it.

Even though it's ironic how these sort of people in real life are considered major creeps and these same women would run the opposite direction if they came across guys like this

He has every bit of power to make things work out and he had no abusive past just terrifying IQ, this person a psychopath 🖕🖕
I would find a psyco hot under very specific circumstances but not in ones they would use it to ruin lives of innocent people including those they were supposed to protect.
Even Cordelia may deserve a second chance and would've turned out finely (by the standards of vampires) if not for Karlheinz, may even be doing great with Ritcher. Beatrix would be happy and content no matter what as she's already a mature and good person, Christa would've been still be an innocent princess, Yui would've been a normal girl living somewhere in the world and all the crap wouldn't have been followed.
