Indecisiveness: They struggle to make decisions, big or small. Whether it's picking a place to eat or making more significant life choices, they waffle a lot.
Frequent Changes of Mind: They might say one thing today and completely flip tomorrow. Planning anything with them can feel like a gamble.
Avoidance of Commitment: They often shy away from committing to plans, opinions, or decisions. You might hear a lot of "maybe," "I'm not sure," or "letโ€™s play it by ear."
Overreliance on Others for Decisions: They frequently rely on others to make choices for them, seeming unable to take a stand on their own.
Noncommittal Language: Their language often lacks conviction. Itโ€™s riddled with qualifiers like "sort of," "probably," "kind of," etc.
Hesitance to Give Direct Answers: Trying to get a straight answer out of them can be exhausting. They often hedge or deflect instead of responding directly.
Dealing with wishy-washy behavior requires a lot of patience.

      Hahaha, yes. Agreed.
I was going to say the kind of people that always answer with "I dont know".

They are people who tend to change their minds or opinions and avoid making difficult decisions. They are just downright indecisive people. They also don't follow through on commitments and they lack direction, not very confident.

Lack of confidence, indecisiveness, and someone who doesnโ€™t know how to dress, has no style!

Well first off that's up to interpretation by your expectations of that person.

But to me being wishy-washy means having no teeth, no balls. You don't have to be the baddest MF on the planet. But every guy should have a code they live by (this is relatable to women to). And they should not compromise those core beliefs for ANYONE. This just says you're a man of substance. Not everyone is going to like you. But you should demand a level of respect from everyone you associate with. If not, do not have anything to do with them.

That's what being wishy-wasy is to me.

I've always hated people who can make a decision , or say " But what if this/ that happened " shows they are weak as piss , nervous laughter for no reason ( this just shts me ) , absolutely stupid comments with no way of achieving same..

When you are just sitting there , knowing this person is not close to reality , and all they are doing is confirming their own short comings just absolutely stupid , wishy - washy crap , so annoying , no reasoning , just weak and trying to impress.

If you ask them a question, they usually won't give you a straight answer.

They spend a lot of time agreeing with whoever they're around.

They get extremely uncomfortable if two of their friends have a disagreement about something in front of them. They don't want to have to pick a side.

I don;t know, maybe is they have trouble making up their mind, it is really hard to say. Maybe if they do not show any commitment. I really can't say for sure.

Those who choose anything other than a Hotchkiss dishy-washy.

Okay, that's really obscure but Iโ€™ll wait to see if anyone picks up on it.
