+1 y"Been THERE"... knew it post fact BUT it takes each/BOTH to exploit YOUR naivete~
Especially when under 30, the potential of lust/allure/opportunity is insidious~
'Wisdom' for the pain; you become circumspect and 'jaded'.

+1 yI think both would sting just as much, because you are losing two friends. If that were to happen to me, I think I would f*#k her best friend that was hitting on me the entire time we were going out and do his sister... revenge can be bitter sweet.

I'd drop them both but friend's betrayal would hurt more. Also, a romantic partner is easier to replace than a best friend.

Navigating the choppy seas of love and trust, aren't we? 😉 Well, picture this: On one hand, you've got your life partner, your co-pilot in love, someone you've probably shared your deepest fears and wildest dreams with. Betrayal from them? Ouch, that's like a series of lovebombs gone off in the wrong direction. And then, there's the best friend, your confidante, the "delete my browser history if I die" kind of pal. That betrayal? Double ouch—it's like being ghosted by your own shadow on a sunny day!
Honestly, both betrayals would hurt like stepping on a LEGO piece barefoot in the dark. Yet, the significant other cheating feels like a classic red flag parade to me. That's the relationship where you've likely invested the most emotionally, making their betrayal a tad sharper on the heart. But hey, love and friendship should come with loyalty guarantees, right? Now, wouldn't that be something!02 Reply- +1 y
No one cares what you think, Love Doctor Brad. You're not human. If I ever fall in love with a computer program, I will definitely want your input. Until then, please just shut the eff up.

+1 yThey both sting equally. Both are prime examples of breaking someone's trust.
00 Reply Well God damnit this happened to me after I graduated. Yep. Dude I was talking to (everyone and I mean everyone knew we were basically together without the title of boyfriend girlfriend). Come to find out my dick friend was dating him half the year after I graduated. She hates me now, blocked me on everything, still is nice to him though and apparently they talk (I put a stop to that when I found out). And me and him yes are still together and engaged now

+1 yCurrently, I am sleeping with my best friend husband. If she ever find out, I am ready to let our friendship go. I only befriend her so I can sleep with her husband.

So you’re married and sleeping with your best friends husband? Pretty sure I’ve seen this story on a Discover Channel unsolved murder show.
+1 yThe best friend one for me. I have other options to replace the boyfriend and just date again.
But then.. I don't have a bestfriend lol.

@SeriouslyNotSerious you have other options? Why the fuck would a guy wanna date you knowing that you have other guys on speed dial that can replace him…
- +1 y
@JHAYES317 Aw. You're so rude. Why don't you ask first before judging my opinion? I will clarify that I can find options AFTER I break up with the guy and not WHILE having a relationship. Of course, I'll be back in the dating scene again AFTER. You're acting as if I'm cheating lmao.

@SeriouslyNotSerious well to be fair, women do cheat more than men in the 18 - 29 demographic…but no I wasn’t inferring that more that you might keep a lot of guy friends who are interested in you around in the event that you break up with someone
- +1 y
@JHAYES317 So after breaking up with a bad boyfriend, we should just stay single forever? And never enter another relationship ever again?
- +1 y
@JHAYES317 Or do you prefer we stay with a cheating boyfriend?
- +1 y
@JHAYES317 It depends. I'm actually from Asia and the "demographic" here is the opposite. Plus, the guy friends I had in real life are mostly gays. 💁🏻♂️✨

@peridot25 Hi girl, just saw your comment and I truly agree with you. ❤️ We will always have options after the relationship (with or without a guy friend) and he's afraid of accepting that fact.
- +1 y
@Peridot25 I didn’t say that…I said don’t keep friends around you who are interested in you…
+1 ytaking into consideration that both my best friends are men... I think I would be surprised that they are bi :D

+1 yGuys got a bro code and that’s an ultimate betrayal. Reason being is a best friend is supposed to understand you. He knows how you think. He knows exactly how much damage something like that would do.
00 Reply 2.3K opinions shared on Relationships topic. My best friend.
To me friends are an extension of family.
I put more importance in my friendships rather than my romantic connections.
Therefore, a betrayal from a friend would hurt more.10 Reply- 1K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
+1 yFriends come and go. Partner is supposed to have your back.

+1 yI'd drop them out BOTH and both will ofc bother me but the one who would bother me both is the best friend, it's just different when friends cheat with your partner
00 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. @pointlessnonsenseguy if it happens with my partner and best friend.
hard for me to break from my long time best friend, so I would start a new 3some relationship with my partner and my best friend.00 Reply460 opinions shared on Relationships topic. The person I'm supposed to form a family with of course
