Bad experiences, often in dating. I guess they are more likely to feel that way if they aren't 100% over their ex or the relationship had long lasting consequences on their life.
There are also those who suffered from physical/mental abuse or abandonment from one of their parents, violence from a stranger, or deeper abuse in a relationship.

Frustration over repeated negative experiences. They may be to the other sexes fault but more often than not are their own fault and they just blame the other sex.

Oh where do I start. I dont "hate" anybody however I do dislike or don't repeat associations if they were negative or you know. "Fool me once, not twice" type vibes aka block. Or block and report spammers. Etc. 😐😐😐😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️😤😤😮‍💨
