Religion was never an issue with any of my girlfriends. All I know is, their parents weren't fundamentalist or anything.

My wife and I were both raised Catholic. By the time we met, though, neither of us were religious.
She has a big family and they are all still Catholic, but the subject of religion never came up.

I wouldn't date anyone who was deeply religious. And I don't care about their families as long as they accept me and don't bug me about religion.

His family Roman Catholic, as is part of mine. We're actually both atheist, which works wonderfully! His parents are more in touch with their religious side than mine. But both sides haven't presented any issues. We've been very lucky in that department
