I fantasized about it when I was younger, but my mind is a particular one where all my fantasies are realistic. So it actually imagines how people would genuinely react rather than imagining merely moves or a behavior. None of the polygamy fantasies ever turned out well, there was always jealousy at some point. Always someone who enjoyed it less, etc. So if I can't imagine how to be in something like that and have it go well, I just take it that I am not the type.

And that was then later confirmed to me when my last monogamous relationship reached intimate heights I didn't think were possible. It made me want her and only her on a deeper level than I had imagined and confirmed that for me monogamy is the way to go.

I sometimes wonder if the people in polygamous relationships believe that I am somehow against it when I say I am highly monogamous but I can totally imagine those relationships being a ton of fun and I don't judge them for it. I just know its not for me since I seek an extremely deep emotional/spiritual bond with a partner, and I can't combine that with someone else myself.
