I can tell you from experience they won't last. Out of many such relationships I have seen none of them lasted. It just doesn't fit with the way humans were designed and sooner or later they become unfulfilling and you grow out of it.

In the meantime you use up valuable time you could be spending with the one person who really makes your life worth living.
