Absolutely. It's harder to find thanks to the plethora of apps aimed at getting a quick fuck instead of developing a relationship over time, and having to navigate around rabid feminazis who would rather be mauled by a bear than meet a man they don't know on a nature walk, but yes. True love definitely happens.

Love isn't an emotion primarily. It's a decision that involves the deliberate choice of the other person over everyone and everything else. It's an action that seeks to put the other person's needs, hopes and dreams before your own. It's a consistent behaviour that leads to a deep, emotional commitment over time.

It's not defined by how hard or wet the other person makes you. Sorry to be so blunt, but that's what it is.

Our reality is not a fairytale, so I don't believe that kind of "magical" true love exists. I believe that a certain person within a certain set of circumstances can trigger a release of chemicals in your mind, which make you feel good.
If they keep making you feel good, then you stay with them, and call it "true love".
