What's your opinion of location sharing with S. O. Do you think its too invasive having your S. O. keep track on you non stop or do you think is fine?

I think it depends on the couple. Most times in life humans stick to a routine. So I don’t always need to tell my girl where I’m at because she knows by certain times I’m here or there. Like right now I’m at work. I do tell her I’m leaving for work, but not cause I have to. It’s just a habit. Now if I’m going to go on a trip or something that requires me going a distance, possibly being gone for a few days then I will text her to tell her arrived at said destination. That way if something goes wrong she at least knows where to tell law enforcement where I was last. We don’t use GPS trackers or things like that. My girl doesn’t drive, she stays home, takes care of the house, watches the dogs, etc. No this isn’t some misandrist thing on my part, it’s just how we are. So she’s never gone w out me unless it’s w our daughter. But aside from me being at work, 99% of the time we’re together.

It's up to the individuals involved, but me and my girlfriend always have location trackers on, for safety reasons. If I can't get ahold of her, then I can check her location to see if she's in a place she could be separated from her phone at (such as at home or work), or somewhere she just wouldn't get signal.

I think it's ok, can make people feel safer like if you or your partner get kidnapped or in trouble you can actually know where they're and help them / tell the police.

After if done for jealous reasons then if you have nothing to hide why would you be against it? If you aren't a cheater and it make the other person feel better it's not a big deal

I think it's totally fine, especially if I happen to get kidnapped and I need my significant other to find where I've been kidnapped to.

Would not bother me any, I wouldn't think she would be using it to check up on me. I gather both of us would use it to see how close we are getting to a meeting place or maybe to help locate one of us if we are stuck on the highway for any reason.

I really don't care if my s. o. Knows my locations. I have no secrets anyway.
As for knowing theirs, yes I'd like that, but I wouldn't even use it unless they're late or something, just to be able to check instead of calling them worried if they may just have been stuck in traffic or something

In today's world having location on the people you care about is smart. Lot of shitty people who will take the chance to do something bad if given the opportunity. My wife and I spend all our time together so we are rarely apart. The rare moments we are we both have the others location and the other on speed dial. In some instances all she has to do is scream and I'll be their. Have had to use that last one a few times

Depends on the situation.

If your SO needs to travel in a remote and/or sketchy area for some legit reason then it’s very appropriate for safety reasons. I put a GPS in my car when I visited Mexico a few years and told my family all about it.

But if you don’t trust your SO not to do the right thing (hence need to spy on them) then the relationship is dysfunctional to begin with.

That's a sign there is a lack of trust in the relationship.

If the SO has done something to break trust then I can understand using this method for a short time to help regain trust, but long term it's a red flag.

I don't personally think it matters that much on a daily basis. Even if my SO is sharing his location with me I doubt I would have the time to check where he's at every second of the day. But I would say for safety reasons it's always better to have it on

Too invasive. It implies an inherent lack of trust, which isn’t healthy for the relationship. I mean, at most I think its ok to ask where they are going when they go to leave the house (if its at random for something) but nothing more.

She does it for the kids (which I opposed) and is pissed I won't join spy network. She stalks them. I tell her she's wrong. It goes no where. I don't need 25/8 surveillance and neither do they. I hate it.
