Do people become invested in your relationship?

I notice that people ask me a lot how things are or if there's a problem they ask me but you're still together right? Even if they don't know my girlfriend they're invested in us being together. I haven't been in relationships much so I'm not used to this. I'm very happy. I just don't fully understand this behavior I guess.

Do you experience this too when you're in a relationship? Or maybe you can explain why you get invested in other peoples relationships even if you're not close friends if you're one of those people.

I do think people become invested in my opinions lol 😆 my google reviews, my past email chains I use to do during Covid pre and after lol 😆 ah well. Then I realised at 29, I'm happier to keeping to myself, and now at 30, definitely all I share now is google reviews, the odd pen pal stateside by snail mail, 🐌 📬 platonic friend, and like a professor Farnsworth, and anyways where was I going with this, people probably enjoy my vicariously living single lifestyle - I do get up to whacky antics :) lol of just mundane everyday life 😄😆

That's why I only tell the bare minimum and they only know what I want them to know. People can be pretty nosey. I also don't post my partner or my relationship on social media. I feel like when you do it you need to do it constantly or people might start asking questions and making assumptions. Best advice I can give is keep whatever is precious to you private.

Not in relationship. But a situationship. Yes, as dramatic as it might sound, the entire campus is invested and talking about us being together. Even the head of faculty has been asking us about it. To the point just a small thing we do together, they will go crazy..
