My boyfriend finished a job working 15 hour shifts 3 months ago, during that job he'd often need 10hrs of rest the next day which is understandable and naps in the day too.
It took him 3 months to get another job but even in his time off for those 3 months he'd sleep 9/10 hrs a day. For reference he's 25. He often likes to tell me that he can easily survive on 7hrs a day with no issues.
When he started this new job last week, a 9-5 he and I were both happy that we finally would have time to spend together in normal hours. But so far after 6/7 hours of sleep before work, he naps at home for 2/3 hours after. I didn't go round until mid week to let him get uses to it but he struggles to stay awake. The same thing happened on the weekend after we had 8 hours sleep.
When I left he could barely keep his eyes open and slept 13 hours. Is this a health issue?
