I once had an ex boyfriend that tried to come back, claiming breaking up with me was a total mistake and I was the one.
I still didn't accept it and don't regret it. If someone breaks up, I never accept them back. Why should I suddenly become valuable once I'm not in the person's life? Plus it's likely things didn't work out with his other dates and I'm just a backup plan, as the last option. Otherwise he wouldn't have left.
Isn't it better being valued when you're in their lives, being their first option? Is it ok to never take back someone that breaks up with you, even if they're sorry?
- You can break-up if you want to and once you go out the door, I'm never coming back.
