Yes and no. My ex I had before my recent, he was non stop cheating, had horrible spending habits but wanted to progress our relationship and I did not handle that greatly as I would’ve now if I was in that relationship. My most recent ex , I probably should’ve never dated in the first place (sex was obviously the main focus in that relationship) as we did not have the same life goals to begin with. He did not want a progressive relationship and that caused a lot of issues in our relationship along with me again not handling that correctly how I should’ve
I’d certainly like to think so. 😂
Mostly I try to come up with calm logical solutions to things, so with one ex I was always the more logical one with the other (and engineer) it was 50/50.
I think the majority of people would like to believe they were the right ones in most scenarios or conflicts in their relationships, but that may not actually be the case and it might be due to narcissism and a lack of self reflection.
But on the other hand, I also believe I was the more logical one in my relationships. It's to the point where my first 2 exes admitted they were wrong about everything and asked for a second chance after they were the ones that broke up with me 😅
Yeah my first relationship was a mess too. Glad I'm past that part of my life 😂😅

in any relationship, it’s important to approach conflicts with a mindset of understanding and resolution rather than simply being "right." Healthy conflict resolution involves active listening, empathy, and compromise. It's about addressing the issue at hand rather than winning an argument. Effective communication and mutual respect are key to resolving conflicts and maintaining a strong relationship.
I have never been in a conflict with any of my exes. I am still very good friends with all of them.
