To a certain point yes because as someone that's jumping in for two I have to adjust to the set boundaries by the other person as well, mostly if I expect them to respect mine and sometimes to respect boundaries, you have to listen to when your partner prevents you from doing something, I think if someone sees it as a control then It seems maybe they are looking at it wrong, if by control you mean they don't let you do anything and they are constantly on your ass then no and no one should accept that.

Both girls and guys will have boundaries for each other in a relationship. Obviously sexual fidelity is one of the boundaries.

Depends on the scenario.
If my girlfriend won’t let me smoke, drink at a bar, wear tight underwear or drink from plastic bottles maybe that is for the best. If I request my girlfriend to not leave the laptop/tablet/phones plugged in overnight due to fire risk… OR I don’t let my girlfriend do drugs in risk of an overdose / addiction that ruins her mental health then that is fine in my eyes.
