I have been with my boyfriend for a few months and we have known each other for 3 years he’s currently 31 and I am 26. we are having a disagreement right now about how he addresses me when speaking to certain people when he’s talking to his friends, sister he addresses me as his girlfriend but while he is talking to his aunt and other people in his family he addresses me as his friend. He told me he calls me his friend because he doesn’t want them in his business and they are an older and wouldn’t understand.
