My ex emotionally manipulated me for 9 months before I found out she had actually been married the entire time. Using her job as an excuse for the late nights.

Her husband was complicate. And knew the whole time but didn't care until she was spending too much to e in the phone with me and at my house.

I still don't know who actually alerted me but I have my suspicions that it was her husband.

I've had a strong urge to send her his and flowers saying, "D****** I had a great time with you the other day/night babe, hope to see you soon, Time" just to fuck with her like she fucked with me. I know it's petty but what are your opinions on the outcomes. Probably won't do it anyway but it's an intriguing thought

It seems that communicating is not your forte and that you are rather closing your eyes on the unmistakable signs that come with everyone that is cheating.

It is definitely a toxic behavior and you fell into the trap because you did not think with your brain in your skull but with the one between your legs. You should always make a thorough investigation about the people you screw around. Not only are they likely to give you an STD/STI but as you learned it now, they will also abuse you emotionally.

What have you learned from your lesson? Probably not much because if the opportunity rises again to get free sex, you will fall into the same trap.
