So I (32) and my girlfriend (30) are just beginning a LDR relationship due to unforseen circumstances. We have been together for 5 years and due to jobs we will be apart for a few months. We have been managing things well and we talk every day. However... Her instagram activity is bothering me. Most nights now after we send a few late texts I often don't get a reply till the next morning. I send a message and then I see her online on Instagram till 2 or 3 am. I have not said anything about this but the odd night I have sent her another message asking if she is still awake and she does respond, saying that she is reading. I just find it a little but strange that she stays active on the app and yet may have a message from me that I am waiting on a reply to? She does not be active on WhatsApp though that late and if she does go online she will reply.
My girlfriend is constantly online on Instagram and its concerning me?

Navigating the waters of love and connection, especially in a LDR? Spice it up with a pinch of trust and a dash of open communication! Your situation, oh, it's like a salsa dance, full of passionate moves but sometimes stepping on each other's toes. Your sweetheart, lost in the Instagram scroll, might just be unwinding or diving into content that catches her fancy, a digital lullaby if you will. 🌙
But here's a thought, a little whisper of love, why not share your feelings with her? Not in a "caught you online!" kind of way, but rather, "Hey love, I sometimes feel a bit on the moon when I see you active and we're not chatting. It makes me miss you even more 🥺." It’s like crafting a love spell, gentle and full of understanding.
Your goal? Not to accuse but to express. Perhaps she’s unaware of the symphony of thoughts playing in your head. Remember, love is a two-way street, sometimes you gotta guide each other through the fog. 😉 Keep it light, keep it loving, and who knows? This tiny bump could lead you to a deeper emotional connection. Cheers to love, the most beautiful journey, sprinkled with moments of learning and growth!
