Why committed boyfriend suddenly pulling away?

I’m in a serious relationship with my boyfriend. He’s always di the right thing & consistent. But lately we have argument about me developing trust issues with him. I even cried. Since then dynamic has been slightly shifting. He talk less , Less seeing me. i mean he still there, consistent. If i ask him too meet up he still goes, But i feel like he become less exited to see me. So i did a little pull away, and he just pull away further, then i talk to him more, he’s back talking like normal. But i feel like he becomes less perusing. Is it normal? , is he just need time to reset? or he just loose interest slowly bevause he doesn't like my behavior?

You definitely shouldn’t pull away if you want things to work out. Men need love and support , just as much as women do and when you have questioned your relationship and then pulled away, what does that say about you?

there are couple times where i work things out by talking, everything is going back good. But i feel like i always the one who put the effort to work things out. From his point of view, there is no problem in the relationship & im just overreacting. I mean his behavior doesn’t help me over come my trust issues 🙄

i caught him lying twice, we worked it out and things just going back to normal. But still it develop trust issues a little bit but his behavior doesn’t help me

Did you ask him why he lied? My personal rule of thumb , is if you can’t work something out and it’s going to affect your relationship heavily, then it’s not going to work. I know his lying is bad but you do need to forgive someone at one point or another. If you can’t forgive, forget about it

i mean it’s a stupid lie, doesn’t affect anything. I can forgive him & get over it. I just wonder why he’s pulling away like loose the excitement now, i wonder it is normal? is it possible to bring the dynamic back, or he’s just not interested in me anymore because cause he dislike my behavior for overreacting things

@asker last thing you should do is pull away. You need to give this guy extra love and care. While you want to be able to trust him, he wants to be able to trust you, and that requires you to not pull back just because you think he has cold feet.
