There's usually something called separation and some of the legally defined relationships such as living together as cohabiting partners. So yes it is wholy possible that you might feel that you hate this person but later you might reconnect with this person perhaps because you've had a change of heart or perhaps you rationalize the solution or even possibly it might be the case that circumstances permit that some reconciliation is possible. About x days which is legally defined as well x days exactly and not a specific number of calender months, assuming that the separation doesn't last longer than that, then by definition separation in such case is reasonable and realistic and happens more often than most people think.

1 yNo, it's not. It's possible to lose attraction or even any feelings at all towards someone for some time, but actual love is much deeper than simple attraction or feeble feelings, and I'm a subscriber to the idea that if You fell out of love with someone, You've never fallen in love with that person in the first place. It's important to differentiate between attraction/lust and love.

@Twalli I'm not sure who Joffrey was. I watched a few exerpts from GoT by chance and my conclusion was thatvif I wanted to watch porn (I don't), I'd rather visit a dedicated site.
However, I take it he's some kind of evil monster of a human. Now that's where it gets interesting, as if I met a woman like this, I would be unlikely to fall in love with her in the first place. If I somewhat did fall in love with her, then she'd probably hurt me in a way similar to how a certain Amber hurt Captain Johnny Depp. In this case, getting hurt this much would corrupt my love, but it wouldn't really rid me of it. First, I'd reject my experience as some kind of a nightmare, and once I accepted the truth, my love would transform into burning hatred. In a way, that hatred would be my way to avenge the (actually nonexistent) woman I fell in love with and my pure love for said woman. It is said that lies can destroy love, but I think it's that we actually still love the person who we learn never actually existed and that's what invokes the hatred. At any rate, I could never be neutral towards the actual person who'd trick me like that.
Anyway, it's a rather extreme case, and it seems it's not the case with the Author of the question. It seems that She thinks She just fell out and then back in love for no specific reason. That is pretty much impossible. - 1 y

@Twalli Oh, regarding the "good looking" part, it's lust, not love, so my point still stands. The "charming" part is more difficult to deal with, I guess resistance to charm comes with life experience. Whatever makes You lose a clear view of Your situation is definitely a trap.
In my case... Given my life experience, I think I could recognize a woman who's a psychopath, and due to the need to adapt to anti-male legislation from hell, female charm has nothing on me, as I am capable of actively ignoring it. If I detected any attempt to force any charm on me, it wouldn't be just a red light on some control panel, it would the initiation of a full facility lockdown sequence. And even if I could be ensnared by a particularly well-adapted predator, I believe what would happen would be that I'd still love the woman that would turn out to be an illusion and attempt to take vengeance on the real one for taking the illusion away from me. That might be the reason they say that the opposite of love is not hatred, but indifference. Hatred towards someone will usually stem from love towards someone else that was hurt by the one we hate or towards an illusion they took away from us. Though I guess it's a bit pseudo-philosophical at this point. Anyway, I would never be neutral towards such a manipulative woman again, forget falling in love with her again, so I'd say my point only lost one leg at worst.
Not for me. When I fall in love with someone, it's permanent and unconditional. Sadly this is true even if my partner becomes abusive. I learned this about myself the hard way.

Tackling the rollercoaster of love, aren't we? Ah, the twists and turns of falling in and out of love—it's like trying to catch a butterfly, only to let it go and then run after it again. Absolutely, it's possible to stop loving someone and then have those feelings come rushing back later. Love isn't linear; it's more like a dance. Sometimes, you step away from each other, maybe even lose the rhythm, but then you find that music again and suddenly, you're back in step. It could be changes in life, personal growth, or simply the heart realizing that what it was searching for was right there all along. The key? Communication, understanding, and a pinch of spark. Keep the dance floor ready, just in case!

Yes, it is possible to stop loving someone and then fall back in love with them later. When someone stops loving their partner, it may be a result of emotional distance, misunderstandings, or evolving priorities. However, if those underlying issues are resolved or personal growth allows a new perspective, the feelings of love can resurface. The renewed connection might even be stronger than before because both partners may have a clearer sense of what they want and need from the relationship.
00 ReplyI think it’s definitely possible to stop loving someone and then fall back in love with them later. Relationships go through ups and downs, and sometimes feelings fade because of distance, misunderstandings, or simply growing apart. Time apart can help you see things differently, maybe even make you realize what you miss about the person or how important they are to you. People grow and change, and sometimes those changes can bring you closer again.
Falling back in love often happens when both people reconnect emotionally or resolve issues that caused them to drift apart. It might take effort and communication, but love can come back in a deeper, more mature way.
00 ReplyYes, it is possible to stop loving someone and later fall back in love with them. Relationships, especially long-term ones, can go through phases where feelings of love may seem to fade due to factors like routine, misunderstandings, or personal growth. Love can be rekindled when both partners reconnect emotionally, resolve past issues, or experience new dynamics in the relationship. Time apart can offer clarity, making people realize the depth of their connection or what they missed about the other person. Changes in circumstances, mutual growth, or shared experiences can also reignite affection. However, this renewed love may come with a deeper understanding, shaped by the lessons learned from the initial separation. It’s important for both individuals to communicate openly and ensure that the reasons for rekindling love are healthy and not just driven by nostalgia or fear of being alone.

1 yLove isn't something that comes over you, like pollen allergies. Love is a decision you make. I suppose of you have weak convictions, and no confidence in your decision making skill, you might flip-flop all over the place.

Loving someone is a slippery slope period. I believe love has a lot to do emotional maturity. Knowing the differences between infatuation, lust, abandonment issues, likelove, and serial dependence.
