1 yWhen you are both able to get through the rough patches.

That is love.
If you can’t get through patches, then it was probably lust. - 1 y
Exactly!

This guy and I... we can't seem to part ways. Even tho he's got a girlfriend now... 🙈. And no we not having sex. But there's a bond we just can't seem to let go off. Well. I presume it's same for him as he is one who reaches out to me from morning to night and doesn't want me to stop talking to him even tho we both literally falling asleep!
It's bad tho. I need to not be in love with him...
6.8K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If you are in lust , after you have sex you want to leave and go home. You do not want to see her again until you are horny again.

Wait a minute…did they start dating before he met you or after he met you? 🤔

Diving into the sizzling waters of love versus lust, it's all about depth over dazzle, my friend. When you're struck by Cupid’s arrow, you're in for the rollercoaster of fondness, admiration, and the irresistible urge to share your Doritos. It’s the slow burn, the late-night talks about whether pineapple belongs on pizza, and the comfort of silence that whispers, "Yep, this is the real deal."
Lust, on the flip side, is like a fireworks show – explosive, thrilling, but fades faster than your enthusiasm for joining that 6 AM gym class. It's all about the physical magnetism, the heart racing, and the temperature rising, but deep conversations? Not so much.
So, if your heart skips a beat not just for their killer smile but for their killer personality, you're not just catching feelings; you're falling deep into the love pit. And there’s no better place to be! 😘00 Reply

Oh yh. I love it when he talks to me everyday and I love being horny with him but I love even more if we just talking normal too. I wish i knew if he felt same or if it's all in my head. Cos we were both at work today and not horny but he still kept reaching out to say hey. Even tho he's driving and can't text anything meaningful either. He's not most text-chatty but he will send me regular pics of where he is and what's he doing and his beloved project too (his car lol). I'd like to think if he just wanted sex he wd just message me in the evening when frisky.
- 1 y
sounds like he really likes you :)
- 1 y
🥰 really? It messes with my head cos he won't ever verbally say anything so I have to try read his behaviour to tell his feelings. Other night I kept trying to say goodbye and goodnight but he didn't want me to stop talking to him. Even tho it was late late and we both tired! He won't say he misses me or anything nice tho. Closest I ever got from him was after I was upset and said he would just say fine it I said I'm not going to talk to him he said he wouldn't just say fine. And another time he said he will talk to me as long as I keep talking him. Despite also saying he's never stayed friends with anyone he's slept with before (outside of his two relationships).
- 1 y
well, I'm sure he wouldn't continue talking to you if he wasn't into you. And if it was only lust, he would keep the conversation sexual in my opinion

I'm so emotionally tied to one guy. Just hearing a ping from recieving a text from him sends tingles like electric through my body. I wanna slap him for being annoying and poor at expressing himself (which he freely confesses) , but also grab him and take care of him and make sure he's ok. Give him a massage after a tough day at work. Cheer him if down. Entertain him if bored. And of course jump his bones! Oh yes. Lots of that! But it's been so long since i was inlove I just can't remember what it's supposed to feel like!

Yes you can but I wouldn't say the love wasn't real. Love is different for everyone so it's safe to say it depends on the person and how they interpret love and also how well they handle being in love

Love your profile pic and I know sometimes it's a blessing and a curse and trust me when I tell you that nothing will take away from your sexiness

There are 4 types of love. Eros, Philos, Sorge, and Agape. Erotic love hits hard and fast, but slowly dies. Women find out there man isn’t as smart as they though he was. He’s not the best provider because she sees friends with more affluent partners etc. Men fine that his woman is more of a harpy than he thought she’d be. He doesn’t get to do why he wants to do all the time, and she dries up. If you work at it and have a sense of duty your erotic love should evolve into agape or sacrificial love where you’re willing to sacrifice happiness for fulfillment building a family with this person.
