Hey everyone, why do boyfriends follow girls that show off their bodies on instagram? it truly hurts my feelings. My boyfriend once told me that there’s no feelings at all to these girls and how he doesn’t “look” at them. So if you don’t “look” why do you have it? :( i’ve been so insecure for years about it and i thought i was the issue but now i truly think that im insecure because of him following so many girls and doesn’t care how or what i think.

Well it should hurt because unless he knows her personally or she’s sharing other things. Like political messages, memes, or anything interesting there’s only one reason he’s following. Especially if they got only freaks accounts.

It is emotional cheating to watch porn, lust after other, read erotic literature some say “it’s just a fantasy” number one you’re not focused on your girlfriend or boyfriend. Number two most people would act on it if and when a opportunity comes up especially when that fantasy just isn’t enough for someone anymore.

It’s a visual thing. Nothing really lore. There’s no feelings involved there other than that of lust. The difference between him looking at them as opposed to being w you. He knows your personality. The following can happen:

• sometimes these girls can “follow” guys first. Now I know 99.99% of the time the bikini model has absolutely zero interest in the random guy she’s following (unless he’s famous). But they know guys will follow them back. They do this to get their momentum going.
• the bikini girl might be local and show up in the guys feed because his other friends are connected with her.
• he might of been following her before he met his girlfriend. He also might of known her in person before she became a bikini model. I knew a few girls in college who later did this.

Anyway paranoia is overblown on this (different story if he was DMing her explicit messages). But most guys don’t obsess with bikini girls they are following on IG the way you think they do.

Late reply but: The same guy who is justifying doing this wouldn't be doing that if he really thought you were worth him not doing it. My money is on you doing something (s) that make him think you are not "the one". When a guy really feels that way about you he acts differently. This is true of women too. They can swear 100 times that flirting with other dudes is harmless... until they actually get with the one guy they think is "the one" and then they're acting like a nun around other dudes. they aren't acting like they're on the market cause it's too important to them not to lose their man/relationship.

I don't mind a guy looking at other women even naked ones online but if he follows, likes or gives them any sort of validation then he is done. You should always look into the man you are considering early because once you are involved they will keep hurting you and it is hard to get out of the relationship.
