Hi, my boyfriend (27) and I (28) got into a verbal disagreement on wed night, earlier that morning he was saying how I am so special to him and he misses me so much (even tho he saw me the night prior). I ended up picking a dumb fight out of my own insecurity over a past argument that he had already apologized for, in which he was comparing me to a celebrity because he did not do anything to cause this but i for no reason decided to be crazy and say oh you think she's hot huh when watching a music video. My boyfriend then got annoyed as I had done this type of thing a lot/accused him which I realize now is immature/toxic and he said yeah ariana grande is hot so after he already apologized I brought it up again. I also pulled an all nighter and was on my period so that did not help but I was trying to make him give details on why I am better to him than her which is dumb I should have just said ok babe when he said I love you and only have eyes for you. I then nitpicked multiple other things he did after he hung up the phone to go eat w his friend, and over text was being passive aggressive saying oh the friend you didn't introduce me to (cus we were hanging w his friends and he did not introduce me then said they already know i'm his girlfriend which is obvious but I chose to nitpick this too) and then was like and you know what else is fucked up is you saying "im done" and dumping me multiple times when ur mad (he needed space for hours). and he said I was stressing him out and said ok well then maybe we should just breakup then then blocked me on everything. I tried to blow his phone up and he ignored me, I kept saying tell me he doesn't love me and ill leave him alone, he only replied to a text from my friend who was like ok well she's here when and if you wanna talk and he was like "never will be tell her to stop hitting me up". he won't respond to any messages asking for my stuff back/when I went to knock he just ignored. does he need space

you need to give him space, you are too anxious and clingy. Some of your comments that you told him may be vallid but you can't throw it all at once he's probably owehvelmed. Use this time away to work on ysf and fix your flaws to have better relationship w him or someone else. He should reach out to you, for now leave him be

thank you for saying it kindly I definitely agree and have looked up secure attachemnt style worksheets to journal and help to reframe some of my toxic ways of thinking. I know this is my anxiety and clinginess making me ask this but leaving him alone is the best bet huh I blew his phone up for days to the pt where he had friends and his friends girlfriend answer so i think the best thing is to let him miss me? and also it sounds like you think he will most likely reach out when he is cooled off? how long do you think this will be cus it happened Wednesday but i did not truly leave him alone until a few hours ago I decided to stop bombarding him cus even tho its apology texts its way too much. thanks for your insight

i know its hard but you need to ocupy ysf with something else and try to shift your perspective. The guy for you will choose you. Is this guy that guy? Noone knows that, so noone knows if he will reach out. You cannot force him to neither it will bring anything good. You need to focus on you, on improving ysf and not being so dependant, working on your patience and accepting everyone has free will to decide for themselves. If he doesn't reach out it would just mean he is not for you and it would never work. If he does reach out great, but if you stay the same this cycle will repeat until he is gone for good.
