I think it is, let’s say if someone cheats on you, and if you put up with it you will stay, if you don’t you will leave. If someone abuses you and you put up with it, you will stay, if you can’t you will leave.

I think it depends on the situation people need strong boundaries and when someone starts testing to see what they can get away with…. Leave. Don’t waste your time with somebody like that who cannot respect you, even if not compatible if someone isn’t right they will just be honest about that “I’m sorry this is what I’m looking for” or something like that.

If someone has progressed to cheating and/or abuse then that’s something you cannot come back from. There are many things that can be worked through in my mind those are dealbreakers.

It’s good to be able to spot the signs early as well as be able to see straight through someone’s shit before you get that far into a relationship. A lot of people just don’t want to see it though.

Yes everyone has imperfections and people need to be able to genuinely love one another for who they are. But you can’t love someone whose a piece of shit for who they are so many of them fake who they are but once you’re around them enough it becomes harder to keep that mask on. To an extent. But a person shouldn't put up with cheating or abuse. But other than that, yeah people don't realize what commitment in a relationship really is. They leave at the first or first few inconveniences. I don't think that's love, a relationship shouldn't be selfish. But at the same time it does take effort from both parts to make it work.

Chosing to spend time with friends over me, only spending one day a week with me and acting like I was controlling for asking him for 2 days a week to get to know each other as a couple. No effort on his part to make me feel that he cared to fix anything. And we didn't communicate our feelings with each other. I didn't communicate mine because I felt like he didn't even care

I think love is about finding someone you care enough about, or are committed enough to, to deal with their bullshit.
