True or False? You can do everything right in a relationship and still be wrong?

Question

Example the mom asks her girlfriend what she can do to make her happy.

She does everything and her girlfriend responds with she is not happy cause she would not have to tell her about it for the mom do it.

It probably depends on the other person and their behavior. I have dated some really immature girls. One time I was at a McDonald's with my ex-girlfriend Kelly, and she was still outside, and these two girls came up to me, and one of them asked me if I had 25 cents.

Kelly came in, so many have a girl 25 cents, next thing I know, she's going off on both girls. And the one girl said "I don't even know him. I just need a quarter for a scratch off because I had no change, and I was going to give it back to him once I finished scratching off my ticket."

Later that night I took her out to dinner because I felt badly for being nice to someone else. The next day she still threw it all up on my face.

I learned from these experiences that girls that are THAT jealous are dangerous. She once punched me in the face while I was driving, and caused me to crash into a wall. Yet, she told everyone I beat the shit out of her. After that day, I lost all respect for her... So I believe you can you can do the right thing all the time and still be in the wrong to other people.

1. There are some people who set their relationship up to fail, and they will find reasons to complain regardless of what you do.

2. "You can do everything right" . . . right according to who? E. g., most people consider me to be a very good cook. Yesterday, I cooked lunch for my office: pot roast, green beans, macaroni & cheese, and apple pie. Everyone thought it was great. . . except my fiancee, who is Chinese born and she simply doesn't like anything cooked in a crock pot. To her, the meal was wrong, but everyone else thought it was great.

3. Even if you are talking about factual matters that are objectively verifiable, if my fiancee says Pearl Harbor Day was December 8, 1941, and I correct her to explain that it was December 7, 1941, I am objectively right. . . but correcting her is likely to cause another set of problems.

4. The bottom line is: in a relationship, being "right" doesn't count for very much.

Of course not. If you did everything the other person wanted, then you put in the effort to make them happy. In order to do so you have to be told what the other person wants. Otherwise, how can you even know that? The girlfriend in question seems a little bit too overbearing, in my opinion.

It just depends on how you look at it. in my opinion if you're doing everything right and it's still not great, then you picked the wrong person to be in a relationship with. Which means you actually didn't do everything right, since you didn't pick right.

By "doing everything right" in a relationship, that's only your opinion. If you don't understand, your partners needs, and are attempting to be kind and loving to them in ways that are unappealing to them, you are approaching the relationship from the wrong angle.

I believe its true, you could be the world's perfect boyfriend or girlfriend, but sometimes people crave toxicity and drama - they want the excitement in their life, which may cost a relationship to obtain.

I mean most unhappiness is self inflicted. Modern thinking is crazy. We subscribe to so many issues and none of it really matters even in the slightest. But yeah if your happiness depends on someone else you are very dependent on that person and no one needs that put on them

It depends if your partner is arguing in bad faith means they dont want to get to the truth or can see that they are wrong and want to be proven right then you can't force a person pretending to be asleep to be awake.
