I reached out to an ex we would talk here and there in my old phone number. Her brother recently died. I explained I was sorry and that if she wished to contact me I told her to save my new number. I told her she can text me or call me at this new number (I just got an iPhone). She never replied. However I know she saved me number because I then tried FaceTiming her and she canceled the FaceTime call (she knew who it was hours later I had texted he when she never replied)
