How comfortable are you knowing that your husband has a female friend?

My husband is very close to this girl. They have known each other since high school, that was before we met and started dating. I know they chat occasionally and he’s very open about it. They used to hang out with each other during their high school days. I’ve met her and can see they get along well. I hate to be the one telling him not to do something, not to see someone or not to speak to another woman. We have a very strong bond, but I can’t help feeling a little bit nervous and jealous when I see he’s sending her messages and chatting.

I know I don’t have any reason to be jealous, but it’s something I can’t avoid. What would you girls do if you were / are in a similar situation? Just accept it, or try to find out more? Should I just relax and not think about it?

Guys she got to know during the time we are toghether and is texting a lot = suspicious until I at least meet them in person to check them out and their dynamic.

At least thats my opinion on that matter. In the end if your partner wants to cheat, they will cheat regardless of if you are wary or not. A relationship can't work if you can't trust your partner at least a little bit that they are not jumping in another bed at first chance.
