How do you divide up chores with your SO?

We do 50/50 on chores

I enjoy and do most of the chores between us because I want to

I don't enjoy them, but I do most of the chores because she/he doesn't help much

My SO does most of the chores

We don't split chores per se, it's more what my SO is good at vs what I'm good at that determines what gets done by whom

We can't be bothered, we just hire someone to do chores/housekeeping/yard work for us

We each have our own place, but still, we do things for each other in much the same way as if we lived with each other. She will often clean things or do laundry or cook when she comes over to my place, and I maintain her car, house, and yard area, and do things like mount shelves and change faucets.

I have never really had much problem with division of labor - in the past, I have made a list of all needed tasks - including interior AND exterior - and asked her to pick the things she wanted to do, and I would do the rest. In almost every case, she would pick all of the inside work and leave all the outside work plus the plumbing, electrical, tech, and construction work. This doesn't mean I never did dishes or ran loads of laundry or whatever, or that she wouldn't sweep the walk, but we had our jobs and we did them, and there wasn't a lot of conflict about it.

There is never any sharing of household chores. I expect to be granted the privilege of doing all her chores, in their entirety.

I do the majority of the household chores while he takes on all the house maintenance, yard work, garbage, mowing, dealing with spiders, car maintenance clearing snow, dealing with things that go bump in the night. That being said he does help when he can without being asked and takes great delight in cooking when he can, taking care of the child and loves to bbq. I guess we put in equal effort in the relationship. There is always something that needs doing. Housework with proper organisation and effort doesn't take too long, I've mostly it all done long before 12pm.

I live alone and would never have a girlfriend live with me, so I do it all myself. I work from home each day except Thursday because I have to run payroll and sign the checks (hours vary wildly from week to week). So I am home running projects and have plenty of time to dust, mop, sweep, clean.

Usually, I do the indoor chores while he does all the outdoor stuff. Luckily, the workload is low as we are both very clean and tidy people.

It would be a roommate. I just tell him to help me keep up the house. I can tell if he’s not doing anything and I would make him do it or we would have to have a serious talk. If you don’t wanna work and help then prepare yourself to leave
