How do you enjoy being single while everyone else is in a relationship?

I can't lie to say that I particularly enjoy being single, but the drama that often comes with relationships gives me some peace of mind. I know right now the best thing for me to do is to really love myself and get comfortable with being by myself because if I can't love me then why should anyone else?

I think if you aren't comfortable with being by yourself then you have to dig deep and figure out why that is. Self-love is the best love to have before embarking on a journey with someone else.

I have mixed feelings.

Pos: My self-esteem, peace of mind and clarity is always best when I am single. I have yet to experience a Healthy, Loyal & Loving union where we respect each other and are best friends. So that is the main reason.

I love my freedom and to be spontaneous. I love my space and alone time, more so then the average person.

I have no problem taking myself out on a nice date, adventure or travel.

Cons - Lonely at certain times- especially during the holidays or fun events/milestone moments you celebrate with others.

No sex. Even if I do connect with another briefly, there's not always an emotional connection so the sex most times is Sub Par. Love makes for the best sex.

More expensive to live alone, if I had Dual Income I could save more, spend more.

Having a +1 is Social Security at any event/invite.

Mostly I miss talking and growing with another.

Start by not making romantic relationships, or depending on others for validation a deciding factor for your happiness and enjoyment. People with an abundance mindset and shitloads to do don't go seeking relationships with others, but others come seeking relationships with them.
