So it gives you both time to really get to know each other , The point of it is for the 2 of you to hopefully be together and choosing each other 100 percent , by giving you both time to really get to know each other , but it also gives the both of you room to breathe without feeling like you are pressured to be tied down to someone you really don’t know too much about. I can’t speak for everyone , but this has been working for me lately , because I am tired of having my heart broken by lying selfish girls’ that say they want love and want loyalty and commitment and then when they finally receive it? they change their minds , because someone she feels better comes along and then she just kicks me to the curb , like I no longer matter to her , basically breaking my heart , and this can go both ways. So it’s better to take your time getting to really know someone , before making that big decision of commitment. Also , the majority of relationships that fail, are mainly failing because of selfishness , people not looking at the big picture and just assuming this person wants exactly what they want and the truth is , most people want their cake and want to eat it to , So what usually happens when a relationship falls apart? Both people end up hating each other and becoming enemies , pointing fingers at each other before pointing fingers at themselves first. FWB’s with some strings attached pretty much eliminates hating each other , you are both friends slowly getting to know each other with some added benefits , it gives the both of you time , to really get to know each other before rushing into a commitment together and choosing that person to spend the rest of your life with , Me personally doesn’t get into a relationship with a girl to be single , I get into a relationship choosing her the same way I hope she is choosing me , without any of that our relationship probably won’t make it because we are just infatuated with each other , we are just fuck buddies mainly , so it takes more than just sex to commit yourself to someone 100 percent. Being FWB’s gives you both time to to see how well you do together without rushing into things , there might be things you don’t like about him and there might be things he does t like about you , which sadly most people overlook when they jump right into a relationship with someone. So think about it , it’s actually been working for me , especially in todays ‘ society with social media and all this garbage that is thrown into our heads

It happened years after.

We were coworkers/friends with benefits and ended up becoming the best of friends.
