What is physical attraction?

To me physical attraction is something that gets the ball rolling. However it can also mean puppy love. I wonder how women and Men can justify to say physical attraction must be there for any other attraction to happen. Some women and Men want to feel an emotional attraction to the girl they like and some just see... a good looking human and want to have sex with a dead piece of meat with no emotional attachment.

So would you get into a relationship with someone who was good looking but abused you and was a rotten person? Or would you take the time to get to know the person before? Example old people who love one another and are 60 years old do you think they see one another with a physical attraction? No... they see them for who they are.

I find it hard to believe that anyone could feel attracted just by a body. It seems either impossible to me or misconceived.
