Am I wrong for prioritizing my husband peace in law enforcement?

Well my husband is a supervisor over criminal investigations. Right now he’s overseas but he recently was undercover for his police department. Do you know these people are lazy? These lazy officers won’t serve a warrant, ain’t moved no part of the trial, and they want you to do all their work for them. Years went by.. no progress. They leave you in situations but don’t wanna help at all. They want the Feds or state police to come in. This police department broke their agreement and basically expected everyone else to do their work for them. This police department laid all their problems on my husband shoulders. This police department wouldn’t even help me in problems they created.

Recently I made an announcement that would bring my husband peace and leave these people in their mess. This includes family members and all. I don’t understand why nobody does their jobs. Why my husband and the government gotta do their jobs for them?

You can’t even get them to serve you a Big Mac meal with a happy meal! Not even with a drink! They gonna want you to cook it for them!

Dang girl, that sounds super frustrating! I don't blame you for wanting to do what's best for your man after dealing with all that drama from the force. They really be out there slacking if they can't even serve a warrant in years! No wonder your hubby gets stressed trying to do everyone else's jobs for them.

It's wack that they'd put so much on his plate but then not even help you guys out when you needed it. Some real lame team players over there if you ask me. No wonder you said enough is enough! Your man's peace of mind is way more important than those lazy cops.

Don't even sweat what anyone else thinks - you gotta take care of your family first. These fools should be thanking your man for picking up their slack all this time! As his woman, you just want him to be happy and not have to deal with all that drama everyday. But these things are definitely tricky to navigate, especially his whole career.

I think talking to him calmly about your concerns is the smartest move before making any big decisions. Like you said, he's dedicated and cares so much about helping people - it'd be a shame for him to lose that just cause this one department isn't treating him right.
