Am I overreacting by feeling terrible for the fact that my man checked me up through police system without me knowing?

So me and my boyfriend had an argument yesterday about his ex sending him a message and him trying to hide that by running to the bathroom to open it. The next day at work he checked me up through a police system ( he works for the police ) I literally felt like he was looking for a dirt on me to wash himself off.
I felt really hurt. He have been 4 months together and always having issues with some weird people texting him… And when the issue escalated he went to check me up the next day. Am I right to feel this much hurt…?

Oh please, grow up into Adulthood. I won’t have Oral or sex with you until we have sat down with our medical, criminal, credit, and paychecks together. And a pre-nup if “we” would ever get that far.

Yes, but honestly I feel like that equal as if I used his phone behind his back and went through or whatever else…. Made be feel really uncomfy as if I am under an investigation.

Well if you’ve been honest with him and he doesn’t find anything on you you haven’t told him about, then you have nothing to fear. I’m not in law enforcement and I do background checks on everyone I let into my life. And I’m not the only one. It’s very normal.
