Ok so I need some help so I just got in to a relationship on Halloween and it’s with my guy best friend and those emotions have been confusing he asked me to be is girlfriend on Halloween and said I love you and we tried to get into a relationship last year it didn’t work so he got played in his eyes so I said yes because I didn’t want to lose him he means a lot he’s been my best friend and after he said I love you he asked me if I do and I do love him but I don't know what kind of love my silence subconscience thinks of it as like a brotherly love but I don't know that’s the first part But just recently yesterday I ment my dream guy and I’m not joking he had everything I looked for in a guy we had so much in common and some how we kept running into each other and some magical reasons I ran into him again playing with my little sister and I mom met him it kind felt like fate through out the day we chatted after the competition we talk some more time few by then it was a hour then he gave me his number we talked for a most three hours later and today we really connected it was so weird I need advice I don’t want to hurt people or my self and I really need so support I don't know what I’m doing.

What you need to do is just stop right now if you answered your own question you just don't know it because you're too caught up in the moment at the last part of your question you said you didn't want to hurt anyone or even yourself and that's going to be the outcome if you continue doing what you're doing

I would rather ask you what you think you should do first because what you don't understand is the choice that you make the path that you take right now is going to be the path that you take many times over and over again if that makes any sense it probably doesn't but anyway

Sounds like you really stuck your hand in the ant pile with this one, I think the best thing you can do is tell your friend that you think that it's all moving too fast for you and that you jumped into this relationship without thinking, tell him that you love him as a person but you are still uncertain how you feel emotionally, make sure to clarify it's not a rejection but you have a lot on your mind, i think the smartest move is to somehow mention the other guy but also find a way to clarify that you aren't choosing the other over him but you don't know how to feel about it all and that you just gotta take steps back, then you have the freedom to test the waters with both, this is the bold way to go.

There's another way to go and that's not say anything but keep contact with the other guy and once you are sure you want to be with the other guy you break up with your friend, that's kinda the cold and messed up way to go but much easier, things can get complicated quick tho if you are caught secretly with the other guy, even if nothing is happening the secrecy would only look bad to the guy you are currently in a relationship with and you'll look like a cheater and red flag to the other guy as well cause when he realizes you are taken and kept that a secret, it will again... just look very bad.

Just be single so you can be free to explore. Give your friend some space so that he can get over his romantic feelings for you, because he can’t do that when you’re still trying to carry on like besties. With this guy you only met him yesterday so don’t get all swept up. If anything use meeting him as a sign that there are other, better candidates out there and you still wanna be open to finding it. He won’t be happy but you’ve been trying to appease him and do what he wants for far too long in my opinion.
