1 yThrough my previous relationships, I've learned to stay adamant with my beliefs and views and not just roll over to appease my partner/prevent my partner from getting upset and potentially leaving me.
I am always patient and rarely if ever fight. However, if my partner encourages me to do something that may jeopardize my views or morals or is a decision I wouldn't make alone, then I will put my foot down and stand strong in that scenario.
It takes a LOT for me to lose my patience, but when I do, I'm firm with where I stand.10 Reply

I used to have a microscopic fuse as a kid.
But it’s taken me my entire life to learn and practice patience and today Im proud of the fact that I can keep it together for a lot longer than the average person
I have even been told “why aren’t you getting angry, you should”
Which makes me happy because I know anger ensures failure in every situation
And I would rather win21 Reply- 1 y
I get told that all the time too. Lol!

As a relationship coach, I’m all about keeping cool 😎. But let’s face it, even the calmest folks can hit their patience limit when communication breaks down or red flags start waving! For me, it’s all about understanding behavior and setting boundaries before the patience meter runs out. How about channeling that impatience into something positive, like addressing the issue head-on with charm and love? 💬❤️

3.5K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I generally have a lot of patience and a long, slow-burning fuse. A part of my job is being "tech support" for my customers, and people often talk about how they can't believe how patient I am.
That said, there are a few specific issues where I have almost no patience: people hurting women, children, or animals, and people who are thieves. Given that I am normally very calm and laid-back, people who see that side of me for the first time are shocked, and sometimes scared. In those moments, I lose any care for my own safety, and just go into attack mode.
I try very hard to avoid such situations altogether, because it's way too easy to get sued or charged, even when you are doing the right thing. I nearly went to jail once, 20 years ago, for stopping a homeless drugged-out person from attacking a woman on the commuter train, but fortunately several people backed up my story, and they let me go. If that happened today, I'm a lot less confident of the outcome.
Still, it would be very difficult to walk away in that situation. I'm not sure that I could.
10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I have ZERO patience when stupid people do stupid mistakes and I end up paying for their mistakes!!
This mostly happens when I order things online. I have gotten to the point of yelling at them and asking them if they are stupid! 😡
I could have patience if it happened once in a great while, but the other day, stupid people managed to mess up my orders, didn't turn in paperwork to my phone company to get my discount and noiI have to write ✍️ a formal complaint to the Public Utilities Commissioner!!
WTF!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡10 Reply

1 yIn most cases, they get 2 dumb questions/statements before I get annoyed. Some people I just look at and I'm already out of patience.
