Are you Possessive or Protective?

This is in regards to all the people you love. So I want to know whether you feel really protective over them or are you possessive over them and are prone to being controlling when it comes to these people.

I don't think possessiveness and love can co-exist. You can try to love someone or own someone not both. Being controlling is a human weakness that is the result of insecurity. I read a lot about unconditional love on here w/o ever reading anyone who understands the definition. Unconditional means if I'm in love with you- a different but interesting subject- with you and you tell me that you would be happier to go fuck Charlie for a few days then I would call Charlie and say you know that chick TGY that I'm in love with, well she thinks your hot so I'd like to see when it would be convenient for her to stop by and rock your world. I'm not spiritually evolved enough for that. I would be spiritually evolved enough to take a bullet for you ( on a good day). To stop what I'm doing and try to let go my obsession with myself to help you in any situation that you would benefit from my help. I have a desire to control a lot of things, including people. Most of the time I'm aware enough to know that controlling someone extinguishes the chance to love them and only rarely lets me control them for any length of time. Control is most obvious when it's active. e. g. take that dress of you look like a whore but it mght be worse in its passive form. e. g. if you leave me I'll kill myself. Anyway, that's my $.02

Nah not possessive but protective in some kind of way that don't over step boundaries so yh I respect boundaries a lot because I want the person I am with to respect mine

I used to feel really protective over my family.. Now I kind of don't really care about anyone, at least not enough to get possessive.. If i see someone trying to take what's mine I will fight for it but if I see someone important going against me I lose all interest in them.
