What annoys you more in someone: Ignorance or lack of empathy?

I think I have to go with ignorance. Because ignorance is premeditated. People can't help if they don't feel something that's just who they are. Or maybe they don't know how

But being ignorant is a choice somebody has made. And has carried it with them for a long time. And their thought has never really been thought about very deep.

Most people that are ignorant it has been taught to them or they're just the follower

Lack of empathy. We are all ignorant about many things just because the vast universe of subjects can’t be mastered in a lifetime. However most people ( in they are of sound mind) can demonstrate empathy and that goes beyond simple sympathy. Lacking empathy can be annoying when you know they have the capacity for it but choose not to due to laziness or hate or any other vice. When we lack empathy we don’t give support and energy to other people and that’s a lose/ lose every time

I’ll also add that faking ignorance can feel annoying as well but usually in that case there are other underlining manipulations at play.

Well... Lack of empathy is terribly important. However, if there is RANK ignorance in a broad swath of areas that are important to you personally, this can rate right up there with a lack of empathy.

I'd say broad ignorance could lead to a lack of empathy, too.

Ignorance because it affects me directly in my everyday life. Ignorant people continue to screw up my orders I order online. Last week 3 of my orders had a problem because some ignorant people don't know what they are doing!!!

For me I think ignorance. The people who have no empathy they're pretty easy to spot and by themselves they can't do much. It's the people who are ignorant who think they're fighting for the right side but don't understand what's actually going on who are the problem. They're the ones who give bad people the power to do what they want to do.

Ignorance is pretty understandable and they can easily just be informed if you bring awareness and it depends on the person if they lack empathy or not. People who lack empathy are either unaware or aware but even if they're aware, they still don't care and it's almost impossible to teach them to care.

ignorance is just a lack of information. lack of empathy is lack of either psychological capacity or just neglect of training of a basic human skill. the latter is much harder to impossible to fix. the former is very easy to fix.

Interesting question. I think empathy. If we had more empathy you could still be ignorant at times and try to use your empathy to figure out maybe understand a situation you're uneducated.
