Asking a girl if she believes in love from the first sight?

I asked a girl in my class today with a smile on my face if she believes in love from the first sight and she replied that she has a boyfriend.

With a smile on my face I said that she misunderstood me and asked her what she thinks about that pick up line cause I heard it today in a bus.

I like her but after I heard her reply I had no idea what to say.

It sounds like a come on. It sounds awful. but if they are asking just to ask then its different. lol.

It's like waaaaaaaaaa? please what love at first sight?there is lust at first sight. Maybe -if it was like you saw how she was interacting with her friends or whatever and heard her talk about something..maybe..lol. but that whole "i saw you across the crowded room" yeah no. haha.
