At age 50, I got a divorce and started dating again. There were women to whom I didn't feel attracted but I recognized that they were good women with many desireable qualities, and I dated them. This is a trick question because for guys... he can tell in like 0.002 seconds if he's physically attracted. Guys are visual first. But later on based on how she acts (personality/character) & treats him that can change and the attraction vanishes.

Can a guy be slowly attracted? Yeah, but that tends to require him to spend time around someone he had no visual attraction to right off the bat. Most guys don't want to be in that situation so it's not the norm at all. And even when he becomes attracted, he still has to find you visually attractive (to him).

I think people kid themselves into thinking guys can be attracted without the visual because a guy could start talking to a woman before he sees her. But at the end of the day, if she doesn't look good to him it's not going to work.
