Of course sometimes I hate it sometimes I need it to see where I've been and where I'm going to go again it's not a bad thing I mean you can't succeed without failure failure is a part of success sometimes we have to relive things and just get a damn better

Oh ok. I was thinking about going back to my librarian job at mental health if they pay me more money. It was hell at times but it wasn't the worst. My boss really wants me to come back. And as far as relationships go, I keep getting weird vibes from my ex that he may want to get back together but I'm not exactly sure. I won't stress it too much. He may just be being extra nice because it's the holidays. I won't look too much into it.

Thanks. I certainly will. And I think we both have changed and things would be a lot different than they were if we were to get back together.

I do and I definitely think he does but it's all on if he wants to get back together which is hard to say right now. I'm hoping he does but he may not want to.

I was a victim of downsizing and was laid off several years ago from the company I had worked for for many years. I went to work for another company at a slight increase in salary. A few years later, I had the opportunity to go back to my old job, at the original salary, and took it... for several personal reasons. It was a minor cut in salary, but it was worth it... a good decision.
20 Reply Kinda feel like society has been going that way for a while too, but yeah, I certainly experienced that in a relationship. Often because of fake progression, I guess is the simplest way to put it. Where, if a couple have an issue of sort and even if they figure out together this is something that needs to be fixed, if their heart is not properly in it, it either leads to resentment from someone and sometimes just more dishonesty. Basically going backwards when you are trying to go forward.

I had to quit my bus driver job in order to do the student teaching part of the program and had no income while doing that. Eventually I finished, but in order to get ahead in the long run, I had to temporarily move backwards financially. I am usually conservative with my money though so I had plenty saved up to do that.

I still find it remarkable that we don't get paid for student teaching. Every other internship or similar training comes with a stipend. Instead, we get the luxury of paying for class credits for this semester that we never even set foot on campus. Becoming a teacher is a racket

Sort of. In 2015, I left my job - which I had absolutely no sane reason to do; I loved the job, was quite good at it, and was very happy; I was just impatient - and went to work for another company that straight up lied to me during the interview and hiring process and then lied again in order to fire me, which they successfully did. It took me a few months, but after a few weeks here and a few weeks there, I went back to that former job and stayed there for six more years.
